Today will hopefully be different for you in the realm of blog reading. I won’t bore you with my woes of being so overworked I can’t see straight.
Because it’s not true. I’m not overworked. Nor underpaid. Nor do my clients wait patiently while I squeeze in a quick jaunt to Paris or a shopping junket to Rome.
Or are my husband and children impatiently demanding my attention while I crank out just one more masterpiece.
And I can’t tell you how much I love that. No apologies. No missed deadlines and I’m not behind on anything. Except scheduling my vacation to Florida. I’m so calm I don’t even need a “Keep Calm” sign in my house to remind me to keep calm.
Maybe I’ll blog. Maybe I won’t. So there you have it. My life is rather boring. Just as I like it.
And for the life of me, I simply can’t figure out how those that are so completely overwhelmed make time to blog, Instagram, Pin, Tweet, Facebook 24/7 and apologize for being overwhelmed!

I’m with you on this whole post – you just described my life perfectly. Oh, I hate to take time to shower and get out of my pajamas! Sally
Thank you, Ellen. Sometimes I just want to smack people who ‘create’ their chaos and then feel justified (or required??) to whine about it on their many avenues of social media because it’s part of what makes them so endearing – NOT !! Give me an unstructured day and I’ll give you lower blood pressure and a slower heart rate so I create my unstructured days rather frequently! I love that – It’s ok to be happy with a calm life – and I’m going to nab it for my FB status today!!
Good Morning Ellen, Just a perfect day…..as I write I am wearing my pyjamas as I have been pottering around the house doing a little of this and a little of that. I shall shower and change later……if the mood takes me.
I blog twice a week and for me that is fine…..I enjoy the interaction with other bloggers, and like you, I do not understand why people put themselves through so much pressure.
Much better to enjoy your day chaos free.
Have a lovely, peaceful day.
Best Wishes
Daphne
