Recently, I located the three decorator fabrics I wanted in Kentucky for $26.98/yard but they didn’t have enough in stock (1 stripe, 1 paisley, 1 floral).and couldn’t give me an expected delivery date. I searched numerous websites and found the same fabric for a high price of $29.98/yard, several sites with it for around $20.00/yard, and one with it for $16.98/yard. I remembered Mary Jo’s and decided to check their website. They listed one of the three designs I needed – for $12.98! I was skeptical. I emailed to confirm the price and to see if by chance they could get the other two designs. They had all three in stock and the price was correct! I sent a photo of each to “make sure” they were the same fabrics. My email was answered immediately and I ordered then and there. Within an hour I received an email informing me they had found flaws in the stripe fabric that I was using as piping and drapes. I was disappointed because that would hold up the slipcover process. They hand picked out two non-flawed yards out of my order of 14 yards and got it and everything else in the mail that day. They ordered the remaining striped yardage I needed and I received it within two weeks. Service was outstanding (I believe my service representative was named Debbie), pleasant, helpful, and most of all PROMPT! All in all, Mary Jo’s was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. – M.

Thanks for including us on your list. It is always fun to find a bargain or to be able to purchase something that is often “trade only” and at affordable prices. I look forward to checking out the other sites as well.

Holy Catfish…that was a heck of a lot of work. You must like us….really like us. I am a designer and I LOVE to find great prices on fabrics so no worries here….where to start…….
You have included my favorite place!! Premier Fabrics. This is an
American company ( which puts them on the top of my list ) fabrics
are made in USA, printed in USA etc. AND they keep adding new designs all the time.
Service is terrific! And you can purchase as little as one yard.
Great list….you might want to add http://www.ladesignconcepts.com for great prices on really exclusive fabrics that we all lust for in the advertisements and designer rooms we see. They offer good discounts with no minimum orders on items that are often strictly to the trade only. Thanks for your hard work.
Thanks…got it!
What an awesome list of resources! Once we get our first home, I’ll definitely be looking into some of these places. Oh, and once I get that sewing lesson…Thanks for providing such a nice list of resources.
Oh! This is a dream come true! Thank you, thank you!
Fabric.com is having a $5/yd home dec sale. Some decent stuff…lots of colors of ticking, which makes great slipcovers, striped toweling that has a Frenchy kind of look, and several colors of toile.
Thank you for including us on your listing. http://www.DesignerFabricsOutlet.com

Thank you for adding this fabric source to your list! When it is time to do a project the search can become overwhelming but you make it seem all so easy! (because you have done your homework!)
This is a super list. Thanks for compiling it.
The Scalamandre link is broken. I think Scalamandre has re-designed their website. The sale section is now called “The Third Floor.” http://www.scalamandre.com/scalamandre-the-third-floor.html
Thanks so much for visiting and for the updated link!
